A Study in Emerald

A Study in Emerald2013

A Study in Emerald is a board game based on a short story by Neil Gaiman that combines elements of Sherlock Holmes and H.P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos. Set in an alternate Victorian-era world ruled by the Old Ones, players take on the roles of Loyalists or Restorationists, competing to control the world. While you may not know the allegiance of your opponents until the end of the game, it matters quite a bit. If your side has lower points, then you automatically lose even if you have the most points individually. The player with the most points on the higher-scoring side wins the game.
