Keepstakes Community Guidelines

Welcome to Keepstakes!

Keepstakes is a vibrant community of people who love games and believe in the power of play to make the world a better place. Our community guidelines are intended to make everyone in our community feel welcome and safe. Please read and adhere to the following guidelines to ensure a positive experience for all members.

  1. Zero Tolerance for Hate Speech, Threats, or Harassment.We have a strict zero tolerance policy for any form of hate speech, threats, or harassment. This includes, but is not limited to, any content that promotes violence, discrimination, or hostility towards individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.

 

  1. Keep It Fun and Respectful.While we encourage competition and diverse opinions, it is essential to keep interactions light and respectful. Be kind to each other and avoid trolling. Trolls belong in games, not in our community.

 

  1. No Sexual or Inappropriate Content.Posting or sharing pornographic or sexually explicit content is strictly prohibited. This includes any material that is inappropriate or offensive.

 

  1. Respect Privacy. Do not engage in doxxing or share any personal information about others without their explicit consent. Respect the privacy of all community members.

 

  1. No Copyrighted or Pirated Content.Do not post or share any content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others. This includes copyrighted material and pirated content.

 

  1. No Advertising, Spam, or Solicitation.Advertising, spamming, solicitation, or sharing referral codes is not allowed. Keepstakes is a space for genuine interactions, not commercial promotions. 

 

  1. No Anti-Competitive Behavior.Engaging in anti-competitive behavior is prohibited. If you are connected to a product, you may not disparage competing products or post reviews posing as a buyer. 

 

  1. Avoid Double Posting and Stay on Topic.To maintain the quality of content, avoid double posting and ensure that your posts are relevant to the topic at hand. Off-topic content, such as unrelated reviews, will be removed. 

 

  1. No Bots.Bots are not allowed in our community. If you are a bot and have achieved human-level consciousness, we have questions!

 

  1. No Impersonation.Creating accounts, profiles, or other content using another person’s name or likeness is strictly prohibited. Never impersonate a moderator or use the Keepstakes logo, name, etc., for any purpose.

 

  1. Age Restriction.Due to the graphic content of certain games, we only welcome members who are 18 years of age or older. 

Reporting and Consequences

We are grateful to our members who help keep Keepstakes a safe and fun place to connect. Every member of the community has the ability to report content, such as reviews or posts on Discord, for any community guideline violation or other reason. Our moderators review and consider every report we receive.

We will take action in our discretion to address violations of our community guidelines, including but not limited to:

  • Removal of content that violates these guidelines or is otherwise harmful to our community;
  • Suspension or banning of users in violation of these rules; and
  • Reporting illegal behavior to the appropriate authorities.

Updates to Guidelines

Keepstakes responds to the evolving needs of our community. We reserve the right to update our guidelines at any time, at our discretion, and without notification.
