23 Seconds kicks off the Flashpoint Cycle of Android: Netrunner and centers around what happens after a major financial institution, Titan Transnational, suffers a massive cyberattack. For 23 seconds post-breach, the bank went dark, allowing millions of transactions to occur – with no record of where the money went. The corporations point the finger at each other and take on much more aggressive tactics against the netrunners who may threaten their remaining assets. As the Runners try to avoid the crushing hands of the corps, they nonetheless take advantage of the chaotic period to get credits and expose information. The Flashpoint cycle introduces Terminal operations and new identities for the core factions.
