“The Big One,” an earthquake that hit SanSan, caused San Andreas fault to open up, leaving room for the growth of The Underway – the setting of the eponymous fourth Data Pack of the SanSan Cycle. The Underway is the home to Los Muertos, a street gang that deals in illicit tech and supplies Runners with all kinds of new goodies. The presence of the gang opens up new strategic avenues for Runners, with new events like Drive By that can be triggered for the Corp to deal with. Fittingly, the Data pack also introduces a new Criminal Identity. Corps have to decide the posture they’ll take in the scene – from shipping Defective Brain Chips to hiring Contract Killers.
