In Klondike, players are transported back to 1898 where they attempt to pan for gold along the Klondike River. During their turn, each player draws three wooden balls from a bag. Black and grey balls are gravel, while yellow balls are gold. The player then arranges the balls onto an aluminum plate and attempts to “pan” for gold. Meanwhile, other players can place bets on their results. Fortunes are easily gained, lost, and regained in this game. In the end, the richest player wins.
